Quirky Chai Cocktails for a Fun Evening!


Coming home after a tough day at work to remember that you had made plans with your friends? Dressing up and donning on the hostess cap can be daunting especially when it comes to food and drinks. To put you at ease and give you the answer to “What do I serve today?”, Chai Buddy has come to your rescue with some sizzling chai cocktail ideas that would liven up your evening get-togethers and reduce the monotony of regular drinks. These easy to make cocktail recipes using chai- or shall we say, ‘Chai-tail’ recipes, will not only just get your party started, also keep the party going until people are high on chai.

PRELIMINARY PREPARATION:
Very obviously, the first step to making any kind of chai cocktail would be making Chai. Brew yourself some masala chai, strain the chai and leaves separate and keep it in the fridge until cold.   1. VANILLA CHAI WHITE RUSSIAN:
White Russians typically combine coffee liqueur, heavy cream and vodka.  Make a heavily concentrated chai, sweeten with honey, and add vanilla. Mix with vodka, coffee liquor (I always use Kahlua), and cream and you have a Vanilla Chai White Russian!
INGREDIENTS:
  • Vodka
  • Kahlua
  • Heavy cream
  • cinnamon sticks, for garnish
  • Chai concentrate
PROCEDURE:
Fill a glass with ice. Add the vodka, Kahlua, and Chai concentrate prepared earlier. Stir gently. Add the heavy cream and stir to combine. Garnish with cinnamon and voila! Your perfect evening rink is ready to serve.
 
  1. DIRTY CHAI COCTAIL:
Don’t go on the name, the Dirty Chai Cocktail would actually act as the clean sweeper in front of your guests. Mix that espresso with chai and rum, the cocktail would leave your taste buds wanting more.
INGREDIENTS:
  • Vanilla Chai Spice
  • White Rum
  • Chai Concentrate
  • Toasted coconut almond milk
  • Dirty Chai Cold Brew No milk added, just the strong stuff
  • Ice
  • Cinnamon, for garnish
          PROCEDURE:
  Combine the Vanilla Chai Spice and white rum in a small shaker. Stir to dissolve spices. Add ice, chai concentrate, almond milk, and cold brew. Shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass over fresh ice and Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
 
  1. CHAI SPICE COCKTAIL:
The delicious and flavourful mix of warm, aromatic chai, dark rum and maple liqueur, Chai spice cocktail is guaranteed to lift your spirits and fill you with a warm, fuzzy feeling. The easy, go-to recipe to make for your friends on an evening meet up or even for yourself, on a self-care night of Netflix and chill!
INGREDIENTS:
  • Prepared chilled brewed chai
  • Dark rum
  • Maple cream liqueur
            PROCEDURE:
 Mix the above ingredients together in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and pour into     small coupe glasses. Alternately simply mix the ingredients together and serve the drinks over ice.
 
  1. CHAI-TINI:
Kept a party at your home but don’t know what to serve? Chai-tini comes to your rescue. The sweet, classy and appetizing cocktail will be the perfect hospitality serve for your guests to have a fun evening!
INGREDIENTS:
  • Chai concentrate
  • Milk
  • Vodka
  • Cinnamon for garnishing
           PROCEDURE:
 Pour ingredients in an ice-filled mixing glass and stir. Strain the mixture into a martini glass. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and cheers!
 
 
  1. BOOZY CHAI LATTE:
On a cold evening, this warm drink will fill your heart with warmth and compliment all those cozy memories. The perfect aroma of Chai blended with rum will soothe you to your bones, prompting you to find joy in little moments.
INGREDIENTS:
  • Cold Chai
  • Spiced Rum
  • Orange Liqueur
  • Cinnamon sticks for garnishing
           PROCEDURE:
 Add all the ingredients together and blend with an immersion blender   under froth appears. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve warm.
